Where you can share concerns about global developments and try to find answers to urgent challenges? Then come to us! We hope to see you soon!
Location
The dormitory is geographically located in a quiet residence area, close the well-known Tokyo Dome in the center of Tokyo. The stations of four subway lines are in convenient walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes. Around these stations you will find e.g. Tokyo Dome La Qua City Amusement Park and the headquarter of the Japanese Judo Association. As it is a domain of arts and education, a number of universities are scattered around the city of Bunkyo.
Concept
The dormitory brings together students and scholars (from Japan and other countries) in daily life. Especially students will gain a lot for their respective fields of study. Cooperation with Tomisaka Christian Center (TCC) allows us to carry out various tasks. Once a year we organize an exchange with our sister facility, the Kyoto International Students' House (HdB) and visit Kyoto. Another trip per year will be provided to mystic places of Japanese spirit. With this programme, we try to learn from the European dormitory concept of "Collegium Oecumenicum" in order to provide a place where you can live together, receive support e.g. on writing Japanese reports, and exchange your creative ideas on how to live in this world.

Application
Who can apply?
- 1. Students (above 4th year), graduate students and researchers enrolled or affiliated with a university or similar research institution located in Tokyo prefecture. Any nationality is welcome, but you must stay at least 3 months.
2. Foreign students need to have "student" visa or the like. Foreign researches need to have "researcher" or "professor" visa.
3. Applicants shall be actively engaged in study and wish to enrich their personality through international exchange in communal life.
4. Applicants shall obey to the dormitory rules.
5. Applicants have to pass an interview and to name a guarantor.
